On November 7 Central Coast Patent Agency held an Open House and a ribbon-cutting, in cooperation with the Santa Cruz and the Pajaro Valley Chambers of Commerce, celebrating twenty years of endeavor in representing clients to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  We were amazed at the turnout and the energy generated by the wonderful folks who attended. A cross-section of inventors attended, several brought products based on their patented invention, and we had displays of other inventions and copies of patents accomplished by our clients.

An important part of the event was a partnering with the Women’s Crisis Support – Defensa de Mujeres (WCS-DdM).  Kalyne Foster and Laura Segura attended and provided information about their excellent organization. Central Coast Patent Agency pledged financial support tied to new patents application filed for the remainder of 2012. We have now calculated the donation to WCS-DdM to be $1500. Central Coast Patent Agency delivered a check this afternoon to Women’s Crisis Support~Defensa de Mujeres. We hope to have future events in which we also partner with the Women’s Crisis Support-Defensa de Mujeres as our chosen charity

We thank the community and the Chambers of Commerce for their continued support.
