CCPA Inc. Twenty Year Celebration and Ribbon Cutting Raving Success!

November 8th 2012

On the evening of November 7 we held an Open House and a ribbon-cutting in cooperation with the Santa Cruz and the Pajaro Valley Chambers of Commerce, celebrating twenty years of endeavor in representing clients to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Personally I was amazed at the turnout and the energy generated by the wonderful folks who chose to attend.  Wine, soft drinks and snacks were served.  A cross-section of inventors attended, several with products according to their inventions, and we had displays of other inventions and ribbon copies of patents accomplished by our exceptional clients.

An important part of the event was a partnering with the Watsonville Women’s Crisis Support group.  We at CCPA have pledged financial support tied to new patent applications through year’s end.  Kalyne Foster and Laura Marcus attended and provided information about their excellent organization.

Several officials of the two Chambers also were here, including Duf Fischer, who conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and Patti Julin of the Santa Cruz Chamber.  Tom Stelling, Nancy Bilicich and Shaz Lint represented the Pajaro Chamber.

Lowell Hurst was here, from the Watsonville City Council, and Greg Caput of the Santa Cruz Board of Supervisors was here as well.  Everyone contributed to the celebration and the energetic interaction.

It was a rewarding experience, and everyone seemed vitally interested in the subjects of invention and new business creation, and many formed new contacts.

Thank you so much to all that were here and supported and participated in this successful event.

From all of us at Central Coast Patent Agency: Thanks!!
