Follow your passion

If you’re looking to inspire a young inventor, try asking them questions about how things work or how they might improve something. Also, if you’re passionate about your invention, then you will be able to remain dedicated and confident throughout the process which will inevitably involve challenges as well as successes.

Know your field
If you’re going to market your invention, you need to know everything about your field: who will be interested in it? What’s the market size? How will you distribute it? How should you price it? People will take you more seriously the more you know about your field and invention. You’ll also protect yourself this way.
